What is JobLink ?
The JobLink system is an on-line recruitment service for all companies seeking new talented people.
It utilizes the principle of motivating people by offering them financial referral reward for their help with candidate searches.
JobLink can work like this:
- An employer submits a job offer to the JobLink system and offers a financial reward for referrals leading to successful candidates.
- The employer then inform their employees and any other contacts about the job offer and the referral reward (The employer also has the option to inform wide public by publishing the job offer on the JobLink public offer list).
- These people then inform their friends and they inform their friends.
- During this process also candidates interested in the job offer learn about it and express their interest in it.
- If one of them is accepted for the job position and is still hired after 90 days then the JobLink system pays the referral reward amount to the people who connected the employer to the successful candidate.
For example: Company C submits a new job offer and info about referral reward to the JobLink system. Company C then informs about the offer Miss X, who then informs Mr. Y who then recommends Mr. Z. Mr Z is accepted for the Job. The JobLink system then pays half the reward to Miss X and the other half to Mr. Y.
Employers do not have to worry about distributing the Reward money to Referrers because the JobLink system handles all logistic of disbursing the reward money as well as all necessary tax processing associated with that.
What is the Referral Reward ?
The Referral Reward is the amount of money that is shared equally among the referrers that lead to a hired candidate.

How much should I offer for the Referral Reward ?
The usual cost of getting a new hire through a traditional recruitment agency is three to ten times the amount of the new hire’s monthly salary.
If you are for example seeking a programmer with starting monthly salary CZK 40k, then you’ll have to pay about CZK 120k to a traditional recruitment agency. In this case we recommend you to offer CZK 50k as the Referral Reward because it still means a significant cost reduction for you but on the other side this amount provides huge motivation to the people who will help you to fill your opening by providing their references.
What is a job offer in the JobLink system ?
JobLink job offer is a search Employer performs to fill an opening in their company or in a client’s company (personal agency). A job offer is defined by information about the open position and the financial amount that makes up the Referral Reward.
Who is Employer in the JobLink system ?
Employers are those JobLink users, who submit job offers to the JobLink system in order to search for candidates to fill opened positions in their companies or their clients companies.
Who is Referrer in the JobLink system ?
Referrers are those JobLink users, who provide to Employers Candidate references or references to people who might provide leads to Candidates (other Referrers). Referrers that lead to a hired candidate share equally the offered Referral Reward.
Who is Candidate in the JobLink system ?
Candidates are those JobLink users, who apply for positions offered by Employers in their JobLink job offers.
Is data safe and protected in the JobLink system ?
JobLink is designed to protect personal data in accordance to the principals contained in EU No. 95/46/EC guideline.

How does it help to have JobLink as one of the Referrers ?
JobLink team maintains a group of effective and reliable Referrers who can help make your searches for Candidates more efficient.
Is it possible to connect an existing JobLink account with an existing Facebook account ?
This is not a problem. Click My JobLink and then Manage your profile in the top menu bar after having logged into the system.
How much do JobLink services cost ?
The system’s services are FREE of charge until you have actually hired a candidate through the system. Only now employers are charged for the offered Reward and JobLink administration fee that is 25% of the Reward.
The Reward as well as the administration fee is fully refunded to you if the new hire has been terminated within 90 days after the start date of the new hire.
What happens with the Reward, if the new hire is terminated within three months after the job start date ?
If the new hire is terminated within 90 days after the job start date, then the Reward as well as the administration fee is fully refunded to the Employer.
If the person hired for the position is directly contacted by you and is not found via a referral, there is no Referral Reward payment, just the administration fee.
Who handles the distribution of the Referral Reward and how ?
The logistics of disbursing the reward money to Referrals is fully handled by the JobLink system. The money is paid to Referrals based on “contract of services” signed between every Referrer who qualifies for it and JobLink.
Can I make changes to the e-mail that JobLink generated for me ?
Yes, you can. These are e-mails for your friends, colleagues, relatives and acquaintances so it’s reasonable that you make sensible changes depending on your audience.
What is very important is that you do not change the link for accessing the JobLink system.
Why do I have to use my own e-mail program instead of sending JobLink emails directly from the JobLink system ?
Your e-mail inbox gets flooded by junk e-mails on daily bases and that’s why it is so important that your JobLink e-mails look trustworthy. By sending JobLink e-mails from your e-mail program you are making sure that recipients will know immediately that the e-mails come from you thus they are worth reading. It also helps to mitigate the risk of getting these e-mails caught by various automatic spam filters.
Another big benefit is that you can work in a program you know and where you already have all your contacts available at your finger tips.
Some tips for making your searches for Candidates more effective ?
- Publish to Facebook!
- Employees and ex-employees are primary and most reliable sources for referrals. Send your JobLink e-mails to all your employees and do not forget about ex-employees.
- Include people who are well connected and know a lot of people.
- Ask yourself if you know anyone who currently does a similar job - they will know others in the same field.
- With every additional recipient, you increase your chances of success.
The JobLink system automatically e-mails you every time someone has expressed interest in your job offer.
You can find statistics on how many people have forwarded your job offer and how many people have expressed interest in your job offer under “My job offers” menu item.
What does the job offer status show ?
Job offers can be either active or inactive. If a job offer is inactive, then JobLink users cannot refer the job offer to their contacts and Candidates cannot express interest in the offered position. Inactive job offers can be reactivated in “My job offers” section.
For Referrers

How to refer job offers ?
If you receive a JobLink e-mail, then just click on the link contained in the e-mail. Once in the JobLink system, just click on “Refer job offer” button and follow the instructions that will lead you through the following steps:
- If you are new to JobLink then you’ll have to register.
- After logging in you’ll accept the user agreement.
- And finally, send your JobLink e-mail to your colleagues, friends, relatives and other acquaintances
When is the Referral Reward paid out ?
If you have helped to find a hired Candidate, JobLink will pay you your share on the offered Referral Reward. The JobLink system will generate “contract of services” and will pay you your share if the new hire has not been terminated within 90 days after the job start date.

What happens when I express an interest in a job offer ?
If you decide to express an interest in a job offer, then you just have to do two simple steps – after you accept the user agreement, send your resume along with a cover letter to your potential Employer and then all is up to you and we can only wish you the best of luck
Who does JobLink tell about me expressing my interest in a position ?
The JobLink system will inform about your interest only your potential Employer, no one else.
